Status of Council Grants and Cooperative Agreements:
Proposition 50 Water Use Efficiency Funding
The California Department of Water Resources has posted the list of Prop 50 Water Use Efficiency grant program
applicants selected to submit a full proposal (see below). All three of the Council's proposals were selected
for the next round! They are as follows:
Making the Connections (Training): $99,649
Innovations that Work (Research): $147,779
Reaching Out (Technical Assistance): $197,320
One hundred six Concept Proposals were invited back to submit Step 2 Full Proposals which are due by April 9, 2007.
Invitation to submit a full proposal is not a guarantee for funding. The Concept Proposals that meet Step 1 requirements
that have a score of 70 or more, and cumulative requested funds of up to 200% of available funds are invited back to
submit Full Proposals. Full proposals will be reviewed and evaluated, and successful proposals will be selected for funding.
